"Pierre" meet Mr. Heimlich
Thursday, May 20, 2004

As I'm getting ready to go to my TV and watch O'Reilly and Hannity and Colmes, I'm thinking now this article today ["Horse slaughter ban still to be considered," May 19] is a Fair & Balanced one--unlike the one I read yesterday ["GUEST OPINION: Out to greener pastures," May 18. Good reporting Joyce, a fair piece.

Please protect America's horses. The French can eat their own horses. Horses are being stolen to fill the quotas, and all of our equine friends are at risk.

By the way, the meat isn't safe for human consumption. We spray them for flies, worm them, medicate them with chemicals that are not to be used for animals intended for human consumption.

Choke on that Pierre!
