Hundreds of horse lovers saddled up Monday night to give a local Congressman a piece of their mind.  Many showed up to Representative Bob Goodlatte's annual town meeting in Lexington to talk about House Bill 857.  If passed, it would end horse slaughter in America for human consumption in Europe and Asia.  Many supporters believe the slaughter of horses is done in an inhumane and say they can't understand why Congressman Goodlatte opposes the bill.  Congressman Goodlatte fears if the bill passed the number of unwanted horses in the country would skyrocket.
