next steps
What we can do over the next few days:
1. We need letters sent to as many Illinois papers as possible on the
subject of this bill and the importance of passing it. Use the points
posted in the alerts from the last few days please.
2. We need petitions signed by Illinois residents and volunteers to help
get those signatures. A template will be provided for this.
3. Those of us that live outside Illinois need to support the letter
writing campaign in Illinois and also be prepared to assist on some telephoning
and faxing next week.
Everyone take a deep breath, we will regroup and prevail on this issue.
HR 857 still needs our attention too, faxes and calls to the list of the day are
vital.
You all are doing wonderful, thank you for sharing that energy for good with the
horses.
