I just wanted  to let you know that the story Amanda Blakely and Emily Henderson wrote "They Eat Horses, Don't They" won first place in the state newspaper competition and was named Tops in Texas, which is the best of the best of student writing!  It beat out stories from schools across Texas ranging in size from 1A to 5A.
