Pharmaceuticals asking them to stop the slaughter of PMU horses.

ILLINOIS Update
SB1921 did not receive the 60 votes it needed to pass.
However, it has been tabled and will come up again for a vote soon. We
will keep you advised. In the meantime, if you are an Illinois

We are delighted to announce that we have received a
wonderful response already from you on both these petitions. If you have not
already done so, please get involved.
Here are "additional comments" written by a young
lad in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on his Kids 4 Horses petition:
"My mom helped me. I am 5
yrs. old. I have my own horse and I love him. Tommy is my best friend. I may
not know how to write the best, but I seen and I know what you are letting
happen to these horses. It makes me sad."

CHOCOLATE DECADENCE
That time of year when we indulge in chocolate is fast
approaching. For our vegan friends, we have created a new page on TF4H
website called Vegan Corner. It is under Get Involved. On it
you will find ways of celebrating the upcoming holidays vegan style.
And that of course includes chocolates. The chocolates from Chocolate
Decadence are vegan, but vegan or not, they are absolutely delicious.

SPIRIT RIDE 4 HORSES
We are receiving continuous updates on
the Spirit Ride 4 Horses set for sometime the first two weeks in
September. We have created a page that will keep you up-to-date on
the status on what promises to be a terrific spectacle that will
culminate with ride right up to the Nation's Capitol! This event
is the brainchild of Jennifer Hughes of Harmony Rescue in support of the

FREE E~CARDS
For those of you who have written that
you could not "log in" (at the top right hand corner of the
page), this is for administrative purposes only
for us here at TF4H to load new images. There are several pages of
beautiful photographs, so please scroll through, click on the one you
want to send, and personalize it with your message, font style,
font color, etc. These are free to everyone, and you can create as
many as you like.
NEW FEATURE
We have added a new feature to TF4H
website. We have added a printer friendly feature (top right) to
make it easier for you to print out our pages.
EMAIL CORRESPONDENCE
Please note that if you have not received a response to
your emails to The Fund for Horses, it may be because of spam
filters or similar products you are using to protect your inbox. We have
written back to you all, only to have some of our replies
"bounced" back to us. We love hearing from you, and it is
our commitment to respond to each and every piece of correspondence we
receive, so please make sure we can "get through" to you!
