Cross post from PMU maresist
Please look at the beautiful mares availableat http://pmufoalquest.com/pmumares/
The deadline for applying for one is tomorrow. Many of the farmers are planning
to ship to auction in February and that means the meat man will take many of
them. Prices start at just $400, and shipping is no more than $300 for each. You
can get a nice, bred mare for as low as just $700, and perhaps lower if shipping
is less!
The BR farm has higher priced, high quality, bred, registered QH mares. They
also have some lower priced registered mares, grade mares, and Belgians. They
have one TB mare bred to a palomino QH stud. They say the TB mare is very sweet
and a pet. You can also buy mares directly from their farm at http://www.telusplanet.net/public/jwolf/forsale.html
and they have some nice, registered studs also available. DS farm has a Morgan
mare bred to a paint stud. Most of the farms have paints and paint crosses.
There are two unfortunately-named Standardbred mares, some paints, and one Arab
left on HF Farm. There are several Appys at DS and HF. Mostly there are QH
mares, bred and open ones, all colors, some great prices. There is one dun QH
mare bred to a dun stud at HF farm. There are some Arab/QH crosses bred to paint
studs, should be beautiful babies. Some of the farms have Belgians and Belgian/QH
crosses. The Belgian/QH crosses make such wonderful trail horses!
Please look and tell your friends. Time is running out. They can expedite your
application w/Paypal. The pregnant mares and unborn foals just have a little
time left to escape their fate up in Canada. I know you can get mares cheaper at
auction, but it's not these mares' faults they are where they are. Please let
people know there are so many left, they need homes! They are unwilling to
extend the DEADline to help place more. Please pass the word!
