Subject: Betty Brown's Horse Slaughter Bill, HB 1324 and the Book of
Leviticus, Chapter 11
Don - I think I may have another reason why Dr.
Deuell should oppose horse slaughter for human consumption.
Please read, in the Bible, Leviticus 11 which says
man should only eat beasts with cloven feet who chew the cud. That
includes cows, but excludes horses. Horses have solid feet and they
don't chew their cuds.
I'm sure Dr. Deuell will want to discuss this with
Betty Brown, and I am sending a copy of this email to Ms. Brown and her aide
Kevin Jones.
