HB 6570 does NOT take the place of SB 1921
The new bill is merely a back up in case SB 1921 should get bogged in
committee.
While we most definitely do not expect this to happen, we must of course be
certain that we have covered all our bases and protect the legislation with a
back up plan.
We fully expect that SB 1921 will be called for a vote within the next few
weeks.
Please, keep this in mind when corresponding to legislators, do not refer to
HB 6570, continue to ask them to support SB1921.
