Hi all   Talked to State Rep. Robert Molaro's aide Greg today. 
Wanted to get a feel for what is going on re: IL bill.  He told me
there is a 50/50 chance it will get addressed in the Nov. session. He
said we can increase our odds if we had a lobbyist.  And if we did
not have lobbyist we would have to do the "poor mans" lobby. This
means that he needs us to inundate the IL legislators with faxes and
phone calls.  He said the next 2 weeks are crucial in getting this
info out to his colleagues!!  He also told me that he had an
extensive conversation with the Dekalb District State Rep. Dave
Wirsing. It seems Mr. Wirsing is extremely angry that Molaro "butted
in" on his territory.  And worse yet, he sees no problem w/ killing
horses as to him they are no different than cows.  He is a lifelong
farmer (cattle etc.) He is Pro Cavel. We have 2 weeks to change his
mind and to let all IL legislators hear our cries.  Greg also told
me that Cavel has a lobbyist working hard to defeat this bill.  Need
I say more?  I know I'm in no position to ask this of all of you, but
PLEASE I implore each of you to do as much letter faxing and phone
calling as you can. If we can get them to just listen in Nov. we can
win this battle!!!  LOL to all
