Hi all, Just got off the phone with Greg, Bob Molaro's aide. We have to really put the BIG PUSH on the house executive committee members from NOW THROUGH MONDAY EVENING!!! Please, fax your letters Sat and Sun to the ex. committee offices in SPRINGFIELD IL. Monday morning we need people to begin CALLING THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE. Please call the committee members in their SPRINGFIELD IL OFFICES. We need to keep a constant flow of phone calls going out to these committee members throughout the day on Monday!!! We also need to keep up calling and faxing all reps and senators. Below I've provided a list of the executive committee members' Springfield fax and phone #'s. Please cross post this to all boards that share our goals. Please do not enlist the aide of any radical animal rights factions. This is strictly a horse meat for human consumption issue. We need not involve people whose agendas differ from the topic at hand!!!

I would like to express to all of you that have so tirelessly helped in this campaign to end horse slaughter in Illinois, how deeply grateful we horse lovers here in Illinois are, for your undying efforts to help enact this vital legislation. We have a real chance here to make a statement to our nation's leaders, that we will not tolerate this travesty any longer in our country!!! You have all inspired me with your compassion, tenacity and fortitude!!! Well, enough of that for now. Come Monday I will be in Springfield, along with other members who will be testifying. We will visit all executive committee members personally to lobby our case. I will phone Carol with updates that she will forward to the board. Please check the board Mon and Tues. If the bill passes the committee on Tuesday, we will need to let you know how to focus our attentions next. The General Assembly meets again on Wednesday and Thursday.
